Llanhilleth crashed to a 12-2 defeat at home to Panteg Park to end any hope of promotion for another season. The visitors siezed control to evaporate Llan's 5 shot advantage running out comfortable winners aiding their hopes of Div 3 survival and ending Llan's hopes of an immediate return to Div 2.
Llanhileth would like to offer their congratulations to Roger Jones as Monmouthshire singles champion 2008 and also wish Panteg Park the very best in their bid for survival.
The latest division 3 table as of Weds 13th August is now on the league tables page.
I have managed to get a few photos of the early days of the clubhouse etc. I would like to pay a special thanks to Phillip Keeling for providing me with the photos and also apologies for the amount of time I've had them. Also apologies for the quality of them but it's the best I could do.
As of 21st June 2008 the Llanhilleth & District Bowls Club website is up and running. I will be adding some photos to the gallery soon and will try to keep the fixtures and results up to date.
If any members have historical information or photos let me know and I'll add them or if anyone has any suggestions for the site let me know.
